Domaine Seguin-Manuel - a sneak peak
by Steen Öhman Feb 23,2021
" The Seguin-Manuel wines show fine promise. This is definitely an estate that should be noted, if you like classical Burgundies as opposed to vins de soif."
- 2018 Beaune "Clos des Mouches" 1er Cru - Very Good (89-90p) : ...the wine shows rich, sweet, slightly velvety fruit that expands as the nose gets sharper. A delightful experience.
- 2018 Vosne-Romanée "Aux Communes" - Very Good (89-90p) : This has lovely liveliness and vivid freshness.
- 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune "Vieilles Vignes" - Very Good (88-89p) : ...really showing well, offering beautiful framboises with ample mid-palate fruit. Riche, pure and vivid - quite a treat, and very well done for the appellation.
- 2017 Beaune "Champimonts" 1er Cru 2017 -
Very Good (88-89p) : ...bringing pleasure to the glass with its generous, friendly fruit.
